Gran Canaria’s Golf Courses

Explore all eight of the island’s 18-hole courses

Home to eight diverse courses and a mild year-round climate, Gran Canaria has earned its place as a beloved destination for golfers.

Our Gran Canaria golf hotel is close to several of the islands' top 18-hole courses

Known as the “continent in miniature,” Gran Canaria’s golf courses are just as diverse as the island’s incredible landscapes. Huge beaches, high mountains and deep valleys, sub-tropical forests and deserts provide wonderful surroundings for eight diverse 18-hole golf courses.

We offer reduced green fees at all of these, which include the oldest in Spain – the Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas. Three courses are within the immediate vicinity of the hotel: Maspalomas Golf and Meloneras Golf are both just five minutes’ drive from the Seaside Palm Beach, and the two courses at Salobre Golf are both 15 minutes’ away.

Maspalomas Golf

18 holes par 73

The prestigious par-73, 18-hole course in the south of the island is surrounded by the dunes of Maspalomas. Its proximity to the ocean and the constant gentle breeze provides the ideal conditions for a great round of golf. The course is only a five-minute drive from Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia and Seaside Palm Beach, and can be reached from Seaside Sandy Beach within 10 minutes.

Salobre Golf

Salobre Golf Sur (18 holes par 71) and Salobre Golf Norte (18 holes par 72)

The Salobre Golf facility is located in scenery which is typical of the south of the island, featuring ravines, volcanic rock and a view of both mountains and sea. There are two 18-hole courses (the North course -par 72- and South course -par 71-), making Salobre the only 36-hole golf club in Gran Canaria. The club is just 15 minutes' drive from Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia and Seaside Palm Beach, and about 20 minutes from Seaside Sandy Beach.

Anfi Tauro Golf

18 holes par 72

This golf course is also in the south of Gran Canaria, in the district of Mogán, and is the island's latest 18-hole course (par 72). The rock formations on the course are reminiscent of Arizona, with the eighth green, for example, completely surrounded by red stone. The club also features the Anfi Tauro par-3 course together with an excellent driving range, chipping area, putting greens and several practice bunkers. Both courses are around 25 minutes' drive from Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia and Seaside Palm Beach.
