Design
As you step into the lobby of Seaside Palm Beach hotel, the bold retro décor makes a clear statement. Our luxury resort has been designed to appeal to all five senses, making it the first hotel in the Canary Islands to be chosen for the Design Hotels collection, a hand-picked selection of independent hotels with a passion for authentic hospitality and cutting-edge design and architecture.
Set in a palm grove next to the iconic dunes of Maspalomas beach and its neighbouring nature reserve, today, the Seaside Palm Beach is a sumptuous example of beach hotel interior design. It was built in the Seventies with a curved Miami-style façade and it later on underwent a full refurbishment led by renowned Paris-based architect and interior designer, Alberto Pinto. The spirit of the Seventies is represented in the retro style of the new décor, which incorporates contemporary artistic trends to create a fresh and current "haute interior design" feel. The result is one of the most glamourous design hotels in Spain.
Nothing was left to chance in the interior design of the Seaside Palm Beach hotel. Our Bar Salón, for example, with its eye-catching carpets, curved seating in tones of fuchsia and orange and glowing lamps, looks like a scene from a classic Scorcese movie, while the Esencia Restaurant overflows with a colour palette of blue, orange and yellow contrasting with velvet and leather furniture. In our Main Restaurant Alberto Pinto worked his magic by making use of warm tones of reds and yellows with floodlit palm trees and the shimmering pool as the backdrop.
There is still plenty left to discover in the rooms and suites, designed in four expressive colour schemes to match the vibrant themes of the Canary Islands and to harmonise with the overall interior. With 70’s style furniture and lamps, graphic prints set against colour-block walls and fabulous views, these captivating hotel rooms to life.
