    Mediterranean Delights in Gran Canaria

    Enjoy a spectacular evening in the charming ambience of our Retro style Restaurant Esencia. Our restaurant will delight your palate with the modern twist with which we enhance the traditional Mediterranean cuisine. This kitchen is renowned for its use of fresh premium quality ingredients and the original combination of ingredients and flavours. Reflective of the Restaurants name “Esencia”, in each of our dishes you can savour the flavours of each ingredient in its purest state.

    Our Restaurant Esencia offers a weekly menu of four courses. According to your preference, choose from a selection of four starters, four hor d’oeuvres, four different fish or meat main courses and a selection of desserts. Each dish can also be sampled separately.

    Here is a sample of our mouthwatering menu:

    Starters

    • Salmon-Turbot Carpaccio flavoured with a wasabi dressing
    • Grilled goat's cheese with asparagus and apple salad
    • Fried scallops on Burrata foam with a confit of vine-ripened tomatoes
    • Roasted scallop with marinated artichoke

     

    Hors d´oeuvre

    • Duck consommé with ravioli foie gras
    • Crème of garden peas with bacon chip
    • Salmon ravioli with saffron spinach
    • Quail breast, couscous and Miso lime vinaigrette

     

    Main Course

    Fish

    • Sea Bass with aubergine tartare and basil sauce
    • Sama filet with pumpkin mash and mixed vegetables
    • Clams with lemongrass and coriander, garlic chip
    • Gilthead Sea Bream filet with mashed sweet potatoes and vegetables

    Meat

    • Beef filet, olive polenta and vegetables
    • Chicken in red wine with herb risotto and sautéed mushrooms
    • Veal steak with sweet potatoes, leek and corn
    • Lamb steak with roasted vegetables, potato purée and rosemary oil

     

    Deserts

    • Macaron with coconut foam, banana and lemon ice-cream
    • Lemon Grass Crème brûlée with raspberry sorbet
    • Chocolate and basil Feuillete with guava sorbet
    • Fake coffee-noodles with chocolate sponge cake and espresso mousse.

    • Daily choice of sorbets and ice-cream
