Golf Courses on Gran Canaria

There are currently eight 18-hole golf courses that attract golfing enthusiasts to Gran Canaria.

Meloneras Golf

This is one of the latest golf courses to have opened on the island. Players enjoy wonderful sea views for half of the holes and the fantastic mountain landscape for the other half (18 holes, par 71). Only 5 min. by car from Grand Hotel Residencia or Seaside Hotel Palm Beach and 10 min. from Seaside Hotel Sandy Beach.

Campo de Golf Maspalomas

The famous golf course in the south of the island is surrounded by the endless Maspalomas sand dunes. Its proximity to the sea ensures that a gentle breeze is always blowing, making the rounds here always very pleasant (18 holes, par 73). Only 5 min. by car from Grand Hotel Residencia or Seaside Hotel Palm Beach and 10 min. from Seaside Hotel Sandy Beach.

Salobre Golf

This golf course, set in the typical countryside of the south of Gran Canaria guarantees an unforgettable experience for golfers of all levels, with spectacular views of the ravines, the mountains and the sea (18 holes, par 71). Anfi Tauro Golf

This golf course is also in the south of the island in the municipality of Mogán and has 18 holes. It is the latest course to have opened.  The rock formations on this course are reminiscent of the Arizona landscape.  Hole number 8, for example, is in a red stone spot (18 holes, par 72). The same town is home to the Anfi Tauro 18-hole, par 3 course. 25 min. by car from Grand Hotel Residencia and Hotel Palm Beach.

El Cortijo Club de Campo

Located in the municipality of Telde, very close to Las Palmas. This course is surrounded by hundred-year-old palm trees and spreads out over three valleys with several small lakes.  It is one of the longest courses in Spain (18 holes, par 72). 50 min. by car from the Seaside Hotels.

El Cortijo Golf Centre

This par 54 course is considered by experts to be one of the best in the world.  It is located next to the previous “El Cortijo Club de Campo” and includes obstacles such as the spectacular lakes and bunkers of marble sand.  This course is fully lit and, as such, can be played at night (18 holes, par 54). 50 min. from the Seaside Hotels.

Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas

This is the oldest club in Spain and was founded by the English in 1891. Located close to the capital city, the golf course offers spectacular views of the volcanic mountains and the Atlantic Ocean (18 holes, par 71). 60 min. from the Seaside Hotels.
